ask, seek, knock ...

I have been clinging to Matthew 7:7-9 for awhile this year, and it has been amazing to see the Lord provide the financial and emotional support that I need for this trip. He answered the door, and I am so grateful! I leave in ~2 weeks, but I'm still in a little bit of denial. I know that God will continue providing for me along the way, as he has done up to this point. He is a just and faithful God who longs to be gracious to us. !Gracias a Dios!


p.s. Manchester United plays Chelsea for the UEFA championship this Wednesday. It airs on ESPN2 at 2:00pm.

lovely ladies

I am going to miss these girls a lot. It's amazing how much 7th grade girls can teach you about life and God. What a blessing it was to work with them this year and I am super exited to continue working with them!

20 days ...

I kept saying "SEND ME! HERE I AM ... SEND ME ... PLLEEAASSSE!" And the Lord is finally letting me go. I am SO excited. It has been a long process, but he has been faithful every step of the way. I cannot wait to see all that I will learn and experience this summer as I work in Mexico. I am going with LAM and will be participating in Spearhead, which is their summer program. At this point, I am waiting for the rest of my financial support. The Lord has continually been gracious in providing for this trip, and I have truly seen him open the door upon which I have been fervently knocking. I am placing my hope in the Lord with expectancy that he will provide and hear my prayers.
